As with all the guests on the show, he was asked his occupation, and without missing a beat, he answered: "Full-time dad, British Army veteran..." The hosts then interjected with "Prince of England" before suggesting "Duke." "For today," Prince Harry laughed, asking them: "What do you want?" After the hosts replied "Duke", he agreed, saying, "Yeah, obviously for today as well because of where we are." It sounds harmless enough, and somewhat sweet, to anyone who hasn't been following his grifts with his wife Meghan Markle. But to anyone with a modicum of knowledge about his life, this description was laughable. If he is a full-time dad, that must be in between playing and being a hotshot Hollywood producer and author, and let's not forget all his overseas "charity" jaunts and his lucrative speaking engagements. (Although why anyone would pay to listen to him whine is beyond me).

No matter - if he wants to be seen as a full-time dad, that is fair enough. Even if the countless paparazzi images of him going about his other business suggest otherwise.

Yet according to Harry, he is a full-time dad, which implies he is safe at home with his family or doing the school run most days. Meanwhile, his brother, the future king William, is undertaking 150-200 royal duties annually according to official records.

Obviously, no one begrudges William security for these events as he is representing the Royal Family. Outside of these duties, he also makes time to spend with his children, and it is to be expected that they would have security given the profile these engagements bring to William and the fact that his family often accompanies him on them.

While being a full-time parent is a commendable and difficult job, it is insulting that Harry can demand the same security as his brother while claiming it is his role.

Even more telling was the way he spoke about his title. He never corrected the hosts when they described him as a "Prince of England". The Kingdom of England hasn't formally existed since 1707.

While he is indeed a prince, it is of the United Kingdom, and the fact that even he seemed to be confused about it spoke volumes about how little regard he gives to his royal status. He is completely blasé about it, and it is clearly merely a money-making tool for him - when he's not busy being a full-time dad, of course.

In a couple of sentences, Harry showed exactly why he shouldn't be afforded the usual privileges and security afforded to royalty and also made his brother look even better in the eyes of the public than he already does.
