Prince George may be the future King of the United Kingdom, but that doesn’t stop him from carrying out chores just like any other teenager. The second in line to the British throne, who recently turned 13, will undoubtedly be enjoying his summer holiday with his family.
The future queen told local farmers, who were showing her how they use a robot silage sweeper to move feed: “That was George's job at half term—moving feed.”
It’s not the first time the Walese have spoken about their children’s chores during their time off from school.
In 2020, William revealed how George, Charlotte and Louis all help with the farming around their country home.
He told the schoolteacher Rhian Roberts, whose family runs a dairy farm, that his children helped to deliver lambs during their time off from school.
William said: “We've been lambing with the children this week. Charlotte wasn't sure at first, but George was straight in there. Louis loves the tractors.”
This summer will undoubtedly be a significant one for George, who will be heading to a new school in September, following in his father’s footsteps by attending the prestigious Eton College, close to his Windsor home.
