Escape to the Country star Nicki Chapman wowed fans as she shared a sun-soaked beach snap to Instagram this weekend, donning an orange bikini while enjoying some sunbathing by the sea. The Chelsea Flower Show presenter, 59, stretched out on a yellow-and-white striped beach towel in a strapless bikini top, showing off the tan that made her shoulders glow.
Nicki completed her look with gold bangles and matching hoop earrings, donning a pair of shades to protect her eyes from the sun and letting her blonde hair fall loose over her shoulders. Beaming for the camera, she captioned her post: “If you’re asking, mine’s a Piña Colada!” with cocktail and sunglasses emojis.
Fans rushed to compliment BBC star Nicki’s snap, with one gushing: “Looking fab-u-lous!”
Another echoed: “Beautiful inside and out!”
While a third posted: “You are so beautiful Nicki!”
She went under the knife in a gruelling four-and-a-half hour operation to remove a benign tumour the size of a golf ball in 2019, and though it was successful, it left her struggling to absorb and retain information as she could before.
She explained on Tom Price’s My Mate Bought a Toaster podcast: “Sadly, I struggle with reading now. I can read, obviously, but my concentration is gone. I had a brain tumour, and I don't know whether it's age or anything, but my attention span has gone when I read. I can read, but I have to really concentrate.
“I have to learn my scripts, I just find everything takes a little bit longer. Learning my lines takes longer, retaining information takes a little bit longer."
