A police helicopter was deployed to the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City after reports of a second person high up on the landmark crossing.
Emergency services swarmed the bridge, with police and other first responders attending the scene. Officials have not yet confirmed the nature of the incident or the person's condition.
The latest emergency response came after a separate incident on the bridge on Sunday, when a man climbed one of its towers before jumping into the East River, prompting a major rescue operation. It is not yet clear whether the latest incident involved a second person.
The bridge has since reopened after its eastbound lanes were temporarily closed, although officials have not released further details about the incident.
