Chick-fil-A will open a new store in Glasgow with 66 to 68 diners and a drive-thru feature for customers' convenience.
It is understood that the chicken restaurant will takeover a former KFC outlet.
The site will mark the fifth Chick-fil-A to open in the UK. The chain currently has two sites in Northern Ireland and branches in Leeds and London.
The opening of the Glasgow site is part of Chick-fil-A's plans to invest nearly £75million in the UK over the next 10 years.
Like its other branches, the site will operate six days per week.
Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays, following the Christian values of its deceased founder, Truett Cathy.
Chick-fil-A is not the only US brand that is looking to carve out a spot in the UK market, with family entertainment and dining centre Chuck E Cheese looking to launch six branches across England and Scotland.
Chick-fil-A rival Raising Canes is also preparing to open its first UK branch in London later this year.
